Senior Corporate Finance Analyst

Role Overview

Job Purpose

  • Assist in the preparation of consolidation reports and compliance with statutory and regulatory bodies
  • Evaluate financial performance by preparing analysis of actual month-to-month and year-on-year financial results of the business
  • Ensure over-all accuracy and completeness of the financial transactions recorded and processed in the accounting system
  • Perform AP and treasury function

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

General Accounting

  • Monitor completion of the monthly submission of financial reports (One Line and Full Line) and other required reports in NOAH (PFRS 7, OSS, SRC and Variance Analysis)
  • Preparation of consolidated elimination entries and consolidated intercompany reconciliation
  • Assist in the analysis of consolidated account balances 
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audited financial Statements

 

Accounts Payable

  • Preparation and routing of checks and timely processing of disbursements
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation and statement of cash flows
  • Updates suppliers and service providers of the status of payments
  • Updating of daily cash balances

 

Treasury

  • Fund management/maintain the balance to a minimum requirement to earn interest income or minimize interest expense
  • Ensure availability of funds on the processed disbursements

 

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in major department projects and take an active role in cross-functional team to assist in driving quality improvement, processes, and initiatives
  • Actively participate and communicate in the team-based work groups 
  • Other functions that may be necessary to the overall function

 

Qualifications

  • A graduate of BS Accountancy or any related accounting course
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is favorable
  • Preferably with 2-3 years experience
  • A resident of Makati or nearby areas
  • Familiarity in SAP is favorable
